Robert believes that everyone needs someone who understands, who “gets” him or her. Looking for ways to promote healing, he pays close attention to the pain that comes with broken relationships, anxiety, depression, life transitions, illness, conflict, abuse, loss, and loneliness. Whether working with teens, adults, seniors, couples, or those who speak Spanish, Robert listens and encourages.

A pastor and former hospice chaplain, Robert counsels from a faith-based approach. He walks non-judgmentally with clients as they work out who they are, why they feel the way they do, and where God is. When clients are at difficult places in life, he lends support as they figure out what’s going on and find healthy ways to cope. In couples counseling, as a sort of marriage coach, he provides a safe space where spouses work through mutual hurts, practice healthy communication, and rebuild their relationships.

Robert has two satellite offices, at White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh and at the Church at Clayton Crossings in Clayton. His voicemail may be reached at 919-845-9977 ext 202.
