Hollon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered and comes from a strengths-based perspective, integrating clients’ spirituality into treatment as a strength and support. Hollon works with adults, children, adolecents, and families and has experience counseling youth and adults in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She provides therapy designed to support clients in developing coping skills for adjustment to mental illness or challenging life situations. Hollon employs therapeutic techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems theory, narrative therapy, and insight-oriented therapy. Much of Hollon’s work has focused on issues such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, social skills, parenting, emotion regulation, and challenges around changing family dynamics. Hollon strives to create an accepting and non-judgmental environment for therapy where clients feel safe to express their feelings and gain insight and improved functioning. Hollon enjoys serving a diverse population and all kinds of family systems.
