The Narrative Leadership Project

Kelli Walker-Jones and Dick Hester are co-directors of the Narrative Leadership Project at Triangle Pastoral Counseling – a program that provides ongoing groups, workshops, consultation, and mentoring for clergy and lay leaders. This program grew out of TPC’s Sustaining Pastoral Excellence Project (2002-2009), funded by the Lilly Endowment. That project created long-term narrative clergy peer groups that sustained ministers and provided research on which the current Narrative Leadership Project is based. The nature of this project is fully described in our book Know Your Story and Lead with It: The Power of Narrative in Clergy Leadership (Herndon, VA: Alban Institute, 2009).
